Commissioning

Press and hold the selection key for 5
seconds to confirm a selected mode.
If the selection key is not pressed for 30
seconds while no mode is confirmed, the
unit returns to the normal operating mode.
No changes are saved.

5.1 RF model

CO sensor RF55/RF67 is always set as

controller.
It is possible to connect more than one
control unit RF to the ventilation unit. The
control unit RF coupled first is set as the
main control. Each subsequent control unit
RF is set as an upgrade sensor, without
controlling the ventilation levels.
Coupling takes a maximum of 60 seconds
per control unit.
As the main control, select the control unit in
the living area from where operation should
be possible.
1. The control unit must be connected
to the ventilation system before use.
Activate the coupling mode:
a. ComfoFan S/ CMFe/
RPM/ VPM/KPM/ComfoAir
160/180/200/350/450/550:
Disconnect the ventilation system and
then switch the power back on.
b. ComfoAir Q with RF PCB: Activate
menu ADVANCED SETTINGS. > RF
SETTINGS >START RF PAIRING on
the ventilation system
c. ComfoSense C: Activate menu
ADVANCED SETTINGS. > RF
PAIRING > START on the ComfoSense
C.
You now have 10 minutes to program
one control unit.
2. Press the operating button for 5
seconds.
- All the indicators flash green 3x.
- The CO indicator flashes green.

- The bottom indicator in the right
column flashes red.
3. Press the operating button for 5
seconds.
- The indicators in the right column
flash red 3x.
- The bottom indicator in the right
column is red.
4. Press the operating button briefly
within 30 seconds to select the desired
coupling mode.
a. 0x or 3x: bottom indicator (adopt the
RF address from the ventilation unit).
- Use this mode when you want to
couple the controls as an extension
to an existing ventilation system.
b. 1x: middle indicator (send the RF
address of the control unit to the
ventilation unit).
- Use this mode to couple the control
unit as the main control unit. The
existing control units are uncoupled
and need to be recoupled.
c. 2x: top indicator (create a random RF
address for the control unit and the
ventilation unit).
- Use this mode to reset RF with
sensors coupled previously. The
existing control units are uncoupled
and need to be recoupled.
5. Press the operating button for 5
seconds to confirm the selection.
The coupling procedure starts.
- The CO indicator flashes orange and

the selected coupling mode indicator
flashes red. The ventilation unit is
found.
- The CO indicator flashes orange and

the selected coupling mode indicator
flashes green. The main control unit is
found.
