4.1 Points of attention – RF
model
this
An RF signal can be disrupted by various
sources, both large metal objects and other
RF signals.
Select a location to fit the control unit so
that there are no large metal objects in the
vicinity of the ventilation unit and the control
unit. If the RF range is not far enough, an RF
Repeater may be used.
4.2 Points of attention – 0-10V
model
Beware of electromagnetic interference
(EMC) during installation.
■ Ensure that there is a barrier (e.g. a
separate channel or compartment) or
at least 150 mm between the power
cables (e.g. 230V) and the interference-
sensitive cables (control, low voltage,
interface, LAN, digital or analogue
signal);
■ If interfering power cables and
interference-sensitive cables have
to cross, ensure that this is done
perpendicularly.
This minimises the chance of EMC and
provides the best communication.
