5.1 Points of attention – RF
model
An RF signal can be disrupted by various
sources, both large metal objects and other
RF signals.
Select a location to fit the control unit so that
there are no large metal objects in the vicinity
of the ventilation unit and the control unit. If
the RF range is not sufficient, an additional
sensor may be installed or an RF Repeater
can be applied.

Commissioning

Press and hold the selection key for 5
seconds to confirm a selected mode.
If the selection key is not pressed for 30
seconds while no mode is confirmed, the
unit returns to the normal operating mode.
No changes are saved.

6.1 RF model

CO sensor RF55/RF67 is always set as

controller.
It is possible to connect more than one
control unit RF to the ventilation unit. The
control unit RF paired first is set as the main
control. Each subsequent RF control unit is
set as an upgrade sensor, without the option
to control the ventilation levels.
As the main control, select the control unit in
the living area from where operation should
be possible.
1. The control unit must be connected
to the ventilation system before use.

Activate the pairing mode:
a. ComfoAir E/ComfoAir PRO/ComfoFan
S/CMFe/ RPMe/VPMe/KPMe/
ComfoAir 160/180/200/350/450/550:
Disconnect the ventilation system and
then switch the power back on.
b. ComfoAir Q with RF PCB: Activate
menu ADVANCED SETTINGS. > RF
SETTINGS >START RF PAIRING on
the ventilation system
c. ComfoSense C: Activate menu
ADVANCED SETTINGS. > RF
PAIRING > START on the ComfoSense
C.
You now have 10 minutes to program
one control unit.
2. Press the operating button for 5
seconds to activate the menu.
- All the indicators flash green 3x.
- The CO indicator flashes green.

3. The bottom indicator in the right column
flashes red to indicate the RF coupling
option. Press the operating button for 5
seconds to confirm this selection.
4. The indicators in the right column flash
red 3x as confirmation. The bottom
indicator in the right column is lit red to
indicate the standard coupling mode.
Press the operating button briefly within
30 seconds to select the required
coupling mode.
a. Bottom indicator: standard coupling
mode. The CO2 sensor uses the RF
address of the ventilation system.
Control units already logged on will
continue to operate.
b. Middle indicator: only use this mode
to log on an additional ventilation
system to the CO2 sensor. The
ventilation system uses the RF
address of the unit. Control units
already logged on must be recoupled
in the standard coupling mode.
c. Top indicator: Only use this mode
to generate a new RF address for
the ventilation system. Control units
already logged on must be recoupled
in the standard coupling mode.
5. Press the operating button for 5
seconds to confirm the selection.
