by the programmed temperature (upon delivery 10 °C) by pressing the + °C key. The time of increased
heating is activated by pressing the "Gießen (casting)" key. The preprogrammed time value starts to
count down.
Place the preheated casting ring with the crucible facing downward into the casting chamber shortly be-
fore the end of the time of increased heating and move the eccentric ring clockwise until the casting ring
is located in the center. If the casting ring is larger than 6 x, remove the eccentric ring and center the ring
on the opening of the crucible.
The eccentric ring gets hot during the melting process. The ring must only be touched with tongs !
After the end of the time of increased heating an acoustic signal can be heard. Close the lid of the casting
chamber and lock it with the locking lever. Be sure that the lever has been pressed up to the stop.
If the chamber has been locked correctly, it is automatically evacuated. After sufficient evacuation of the
casting chamber, an acoustic signal can be heard and the chamber automatically turns by 180°.
In order to avoid injuries, do not touch the casting chamber any longer after the acoustic signal
has been heard. Never try to open the casting chamber during the casting process !
If the rotating movement of the casting chamber is blocked, it turns back to its starting position after
approx. 5 s. Err 3 or Err 4 is shown in the display (see item 7).
After the end of the preprogrammed pressure delay time the alloy is cast under pressure. After the end of
the programmed cooling time the casting chamber turns back to its starting position and an acoustic sig-
nal can be heard. Open the lid of the casting chamber by unlocking the locking lever. Turn the eccentric
ring anticlockwise using the crucible tongs, remove the casting ring and place it on a heat-resistant sur-
face. Remove the crucible and put it into the crucible stand.
After a completed casting process the casting chamber, eccentric ring, casting ring and crucible
are hot. Do not touch because of the risk of getting burned !
The unit switches back to the standby mode. The temperature levels out at the programmed starting
temperature in order to be ready for the next casting process. Leave the lid open. If the lid is closed, an
acoustic signal can be heard and "DOOR" is shown in the display. The unit will not heat up then.
