• Always position and transport the appliance in the upright position. Never use the appliance outdoors.
• Do not sit on the appliance or put objects on it.
• Do not operate the appliance with wet hands or while standing on a wet surface.
• Do not move the appliance when it is in operation.
• Unplug the mains plug from the socket when you want to service or move the appliance.
• Do not let the appliance come into contact with chemicals.
• Do not use aerosols near the appliance.
• Do not use the appliance in the proximity of gases or flammable substances such as alcohol,
insecticides, petrol etc.
• Do not use the appliance if it has fallen to the ground or if it has visible damage.
• Only use the appliance at a room temperature between 16 °C and 31 °C. At a room temperature over
31 °C, the appliance will be damaged.
• Warning − Risk of electric shock! Never attempt to repair the appliance yourself. In case of malfunction,
the appliance should only be repaired by qualified personnel.

d) Batteries

• Correct polarity must be observed while inserting the (rechargeable) batteries.
• (Rechargeable) batteries should be removed from the appliance if it is not used for a long period of time
to avoid damage through leaking. Leaking or damaged (rechargeable) batteries might cause acid burns
when in contact with skin, therefore use suitable protective gloves to handle corrupted (rechargeable)
batteries.
• (Rechargeable) batteries must be kept out of reach of children. Do not leave (rechargeable) batteries
lying around, as there is risk that children or pets might swallow them.
• All (rechargeable) batteries should be replaced at the same time. Mixing old and new (rechargeable)
batteries in the appliance can lead to (rechargeable) battery leakage and appliance damage.
• (Rechargeable) batteries must not be dismantled, short-circuited or thrown into fire. Never recharge
non-rechargeable batteries. There is a risk of explosion!

e) Refrigerant R290

• R290 refrigerant gas complies with European environmental directives
• R290 has a low GWP (Global Warming Potential) of 3.
• The air conditioner contains about 130 g of R290 refrigerant gas.
• Do not use or store in an unventilated space with an area of less than 10 m

or explosion hazard should the refrigerant come into contact with electronic heaters, stoves, or other
