c) Installation

Fig. A
• First, extend the air outlet hose (28) from the end without connecting parts. Attach the window channel adaptor (24)
to the air outlet hose (28) by screwing it anti-clockwise onto the air outlet hose (28) (Fig. A). The air outlet hose (28)
can be extended and bent into the desired shape.
• Then screw the connection side of the air outlet hose (28) to the air outlet (14) by tightening it anti-clockwise
(Fig. B). Turn in the direction of the "lock" arrow. To loosen the air outlet hose (28) turn it clockwise in the direction
of the "unlock" arrow.
• Place the appliance near a window or a door. If required, extend the air outlet hose (28) carefully. It is recommended
that the length of the hose is kept as short as possible.
• Open the window and measure the width of the window. The window channel (25) can be used only with sash
windows.
• If the window is too narrow for the window channel (25), remove the inner part of the window channel.
• Shorten the inner part of the window channel (25) to the desired length. The window channel adaptor (24) must not
partially or fully cover the slot opening when installed.
• Place the inner part in the outer part of the window channel (25) and extend the window channel (25) to the required
length on the window.
• If necessary, attach the window channel (25) with screws as well. Ask an expert for advice.
• After the window channel (25) has been mounted on the window, tighten the wing screw set (27) so that the inner
and outer parts of the window channel are locked together.
• The window channel (25) is fixed in place when the window sash is shut.
• Now guide the window channel adaptor (24) into the window channel opening (Figure C).
• When routing the air outlet hose, follow the instructions in section d) Air outlet hose position.
