Assigning the monitor buttons
The monitor is operated using a 5-
way button. The Enter key is used
to switch on the monitor or con-
firm a selected function.
The control buttons are used for
navigation within the different
menu levels.
Enter button
The control buttons can be assigned
with different functions depending
on the monitor display. The functi-
ons of the buttons are indicated by a
display superimposed at the bottom
edge of the monitor.
Video memory lamp
If new pictures have been saved, the
light button lights up at the telepho-
ne. Pressing the Enter button causes
the last saved picture to be display-
ed. Other saved pictures can be
selected using the control button.

Switching on the monitor
Pressing the Enter key causes the
last camera picture saved at the
door station which placed the last
call to be displayed.
Current camera picture
The current camera picture can be
displayed using button 1, provided
your electrical installer has activat-
ed this function.
SD card
An additional SD card can be inser-
ted at the top of the device which
has a memory capacity of between
32 MB and 2 GB; in the as-deliver-
ed status, a dummy card is inser-
ted to protect the unit from dust.
The memory card is used
• to extend the unit's internal
video memory and
• to transmit the pictures to a PC
with the aid of the relevant rea-
ding unit.
Also with a memory capacity of
more than 256 MB, the SD card is
able to store a maximum of 255
pictures in *.tif format with a reso-
lution of 640 x 480 pixel and a file
size of appr. 1 MB. When the
memory capacity is exhausted, or
the maximum number of pictures
has been saved, the oldest picture
is overwritten every time a new
one is taken. With the card inser-
ted, the SD card symbol is display-
ed at the top of the screen.

SD card correctly detected
Initializing SD card
Card defective or write
protected
Write/Read process
Do not remove the SD card during
the write and read process.To for-
mat the SD card, use the in-house
