6. Display light
6.1 Battery operation
• Attention:
Continuous illuminated backlight only works when using the power adapter.
• Press the SNOOZE/LIGHT sensor button.
• The backlight will come on for 13 seconds. The display colour is blue.
6.2 Operation with power adapter
6.2.1 Brightness
• You can select between two levels of brightness with the BACKLIGHT switch (HI/LO).
6.2.2 Display colour
• To activate the automatic colour mode, press the AUTO COLOR button.
• In this mode the display colour changes automatically in gentle transitions through 70 colour hues.
• Press the AUTO COLOR button again.
• You can customize the display colour in this mode.
• You can change to a variety of colours by pressing the LEFT or RIGHT button several times.
• Press and hold the LEFT or RIGHT button for fast mode.

7. Charging function
• Attention:
The charging function only works with the power adapter.
• Plug the USB cable (not included) into the USB port on the alarm clock and connect the other end to your mobile device. Make sure that the USB
charging function is suitable for your mobile device (charging current 1A).
• Do not apply excessive force when connecting a USB cable. The USB plug fits only one way into the USB port.
8. Care and maintenance
• Clean the devices with a soft damp cloth. Do not use solvents or scouring agents.
• Remove the batteries from all devices if you do not use the products for a long period of time.
• Store the devices in a dry place.
8.1 Battery replacement
• Change the batteries of the outdoor transmitter, when the battery symbol appears on the display of the outdoor temperature.
• Change the base station batteries, when the battery symbol appears on the display of the indoor temperature.
• Please note:
When the batteries are changed, the contact between the transmitter and the base station must be restored – so always start a manual transmitter
search or restart the instrument according to the manual.
