• Always turn the appliance off before disconnecting the plug.
• Never use accessories other than those recommended by the manufacturer. Failure to do
so could pose a safety risk to the user and could damage the appliance. Only use original
parts and accessories.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced phys-
ical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge.
• This appliance must not be used by children under any circumstances.
• Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children.
• Always disconnect the appliance from the mains if it is left unattended or is not in use,
and before assembly, disassembly or cleaning.
• Never leave the appliance unattended during use.

NEVER OPEN THE DRAIN TAP WHILE THE DEVICE IS IN USE!

Special safety regulations

• There is fan at the bottom of the appliance. If the appliance will be stored in a cabinet:
watch out that you don't keep small paper pieces or something similar inside, otherwise
the small pieces may be sucked into the fan and block the air flow and the heat dissipa-
tion.
• Do not place the appliance in a high temperature environment or close to sources of heat

• Do not place flammable substances close to the appliance.
• When the appliance is in use, the housing can get very hot. Do not touch the housing.
• When the appliance is in use, the oil inside has a very high temperature. Please do not
open the faucet until the oil has cooled down.
• Do not use the appliance to heat flammable substances.
• If the oil in the oil tank catches fire, do not attempt to extinguish the fire with water. Dis-
connect the power immediately, put a lid (do not use the original lid; it has an opening
and is therefore not suitable to extinguish) on top of the appliance and use a proper fire
extinguisher to put out the fire.
• We recommend the use of frying oil or liquid frying fat in this deep fryer. Solid fat is not
suitable for this deep fryer.
• Always remove the plug from the socket when filling or cleaning the deep fryer.
• The electrical installation must satisfy the applicable national and local regulations.
• To avoid the risk of fire, do not allow the oil level to drop below the minimum. Always use
plenty of oil in the bowl and control this during use.
• Never use old oil as this increases the risk of fire.
• General rule: use up to 100 grams defrosted chips in 1 liter of oil. For other frozen deep
frying products, follow the directions on the package.
