Fault finding and corrective action
Check fuse F1 (2 A) (front of set)
Check 230V~AC on motor terminals 100 and
101 of motor
If 230V~AC, change motor
If not 230V~AC, check power supply and
coupling of set and switch (0-230-400V or 0/1).
Check its 24V~AC power supply, (wire 200
and 201 on auxiliary transformer and on
signal lamp terminals).
Check condition of signal lamp
Check fuse PF1 (2A) on the mother board and
electric contacts (1 and 5B13)
Check the current conduction of safeties
STH1 (214-206) STH2 (206-203) and S1(201-
214) wire feed unit cover incorrectly replaced.
Exceeding duty cycle of bad ventilation
Check trigger circuit by disconnecting torch
and checking the quick fitting connector -
power source
30V = AC between 1 and 2
If yes, check torch trigger circuit
Replace the micro-switch if it is defective

If no 30V AC, check 24V~ (1 and 2 B13) (203-
200) and (1 and 2 B2) (207-208) otherwise,
replace mother board.
It the drive roller turns, check :
pressure of the driven roller
if the break of the spool shaft is blocked
(adjust with a screwdriver, if necessary)
condition of torch conduit
If the motor does not run
Check fuse PF2 (2A) on mother board
Check variation in supply voltage of motor
with wire speed potentiometer.
Variation from 0 to 24V = DC (trigger pressed)
