Before use
The appliance may be used only for the intended purpose and in accordance with this instruction
manual. No claims of any kind may be pressed for damage resulting from improper use. You are
therefore advised to read the instruction manual carefully before use. It contains instructions for
using, cleaning and looking after the appliance. We accept no liability for any damage resulting from
non-observance.
Keep this instruction manual in a safe place and pass it on to any subsequent user together with the
appliance. Please also note the warranty information at the end of the instruction manual.

▪ Only connect the appliance to sockets that have been installed pursuant to regulations. The mains
cable and plug must be dry.
▪ Before using the appliance, check whether the voltage specification on the underside of the
appliance corresponds with the local network voltage.
▪ Do not pull or clamp the connection cable over sharp edges. Do not leave it dangling. Protect it
from heat and oil.
▪ Do not use the appliance if either the plug, mains cable or appliance is damaged. If the mains
cable is damaged, it may only be replaced by WMF, a workshop authorised by WMF or a similarly
qualified person, in order to prevent injury.
▪ Do not pre-heat the appliance.
▪ Keep the mains cable away from hot surfaces.
▪ Only use an extension cable if it is in perfect condition.
▪ Never pull the mains plug out of the socket by the power cord or with wet hands.
▪ Never immerse the cable, plug or appliance in water or other liquids. Make sure that no water
sprays onto the mains plug.
▪ Do not place the appliance on hot surfaces such as hotplates or near open gas flames, as this could
melt the casing.
▪ Do not place the appliance on water-sensitive surfaces. Splashed water may damage such surfaces.
▪ Caution: the appliance gets hot! Do not move the appliance if it contains hot water.
▪ Do not fill the appliance higher than the "MAX" mark.
▪ Do not use or store the appliance outside, in damp rooms or within reach of children.
▪ When the appliance is not being used, pull the mains plug out of the socket.
▪ Only place bottles or jars in the bottle warmer with their lids on, before you fill the appliance with
water.
▪ Fill the bottle warmer before you switch it on. Never switch the appliance on if it is not filled with
water.
▪ Risk of scalding, hot water can cause scalding. Use the bottle warmer carefully when it contains
hot water. The surfaces of the appliance can also get hot during use and retain residual heat after
use.
▪ Risk of scalding, always check the temperature of the food before you feed it to your baby! The
underside of your wrist is ideal as this area is temperature-sensitive
