Fault Cause
• Power supply interrupted.
No display, no
function.
• Defect control unit.
• Defect power adaptor.
• Power supply too low.
• Short circuit in the tip.
• Tip is not screwed on
correctly.
Unit functions but
no heat in the tip.
• The contact between tip
and handle is dirty.
• The tip is defect.
• The handpiece cable is not
connected correctly to the
unit.
Temperature • The memory chip is defect.

• Check power supply and
reconnect.
• Exchange via service.
• Exchange with replacement part
(see spare parts list).
• Connect the right power adaptor
(see spare parts list).
• Clean the tips and handle
(blow out).
• Exchange the tip.
• Heating handle defect -->
exchange with spare part
(see spare parts list).
• Screw in the tip hand-tight.
• Clean the contact (blow out).
• Replace the O-ring (see spare
parts list).
• Replace with the new tip
(see point 12 / Accessories).
• Insert the handpiece cable into
the unit until it clicks.
• Send for repair.
