The depth skid is mounted on the tiller. To adjust
depth skid, pull it backwards and up till the
preferred height is found. Place the depth skid
vertically, and it will fall into a notch.
The depth skid can be adjusted in several
cultivating depths. If you press the depth skid too
deep into the soil, the rate of advance will slow
down and the cultivating depth will increase.
The right cultivating depth will lighten your
workload. If you raise the depth skid the rate of
advance will increase, but the cultivating will be
more super-ficial.
The right adjustment depends on the soil.
The supportwheels are mounted on the tiller. The
adjustment is done by means of the lock . Pull the
lock out, and lift or lower the tiller with the
handlebar until the preferred height is found.
Release the lock.
The support wheels avoid the machine to go into
the ground and they are stablising the machine
during operating while cultivating.
The tiller should be cleaned after use. Use your
garden hose and wash down soil and dirt. Clean
the rotor-shaft for grass, string etc. The chassis
number should only be cleaned with a moist cloth
otherwise it might fall of. Avoid using a high
pressure cleaner for the cleaning.
The gearbox on the tiller is from the factory
lubricated with 0.2 litre TEXACO Multifak 283
EPOO oil. It is not necessary to renew the oil
