WARNING
-
Make sure the VPS works correctly by moving the left side slider forward (Fig. 9A) and
back-ward (Fig. 9B) so that you can hear the clicks meaning that it enters the relative
positions. If necessary, repeat the above-mentioned steps.
-
If the visor and/or VPS opening/closing mechanisms are damaged or malfunctioning,
please contact a Nolan authorised dealer.
-
Do not use the helmet if the VPS has not been assembled properly.
-
The VPS doesn't replace the protection guaranteed by the visor. For this reason it must
always be used only when the helmet's visor is lowered.
WIND PROTECTOR
This accessory allows improved helmet performance under certain conditions of use. The
Wind Protector prevents unpleasant infiltrations of air under the chin. See Fig. 12 for the
assembly and disassembly.
WARNING!!!
The Wind Protector is easily removable. You can check the correct assembly of this acces-
sory by pulling it gently towards the inner part of the helmet with your thumb and forefinger.
If it moves, repeat the assembling operations.
REMOVABLE INNER COMFORT PADDING
To remove and/or reassemble the inner comfort padding, open the helmet chin guard and lift
the VPS (Fig. 9A).
REMOVAL
1.1 Open the chin strap (see specific instructions), pull the front of the left cheek pad towards
the inside of the helmet to undo the snap fasteners from the left side frame (Fig. 13).
Repeat the same operation on the right side of the helmet.
1.2 Release the roll neck left eyelet from the left side frame (Fig. 14). Repeat the same oper-
ation on the right side of the helmet.
1.3 Release the left snap fastener located on the back of the cheek pad near the roll neck
from the outer shell (Fig. 15). Repeat the same operation on the right side of the helmet.
1.4 Remove left and right side flaps of the comfort padding from the cavity between the inner
polystyrene cheek pads and the outer shell (Fig. 16).
1.5 Release the liner left rear flap from the support fixed to the inner polystyrene shell by
slightly deforming the shell edge and slightly pulling the comfort padding towards the
inside (Fig. 17). Then repeat the same steps to remove the central flap as well as the right
flap.
1.6 Hold the left front part of the liner and pull it upwards in order to remove the liner flap from
the support fixed to the polystyrene inner shell (Fig. 18). Then repeat the same steps for
the central front and right flap.
1.7 Remove the chin straps from the liner (Fig. 19 A).
1.8 Completely remove the liner from the helmet.
