INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
The N91EVO helmet can be used in two configurations (chin guard closed - P / chin guard
open -J). The use of the helmet in configuration P (with chin guard and visor closed) obvious-
ly offers the highest degree of protection regarding configuration J (with chin guard and visor
open).
WARNING:
if the helmet is used in configuration J (with chin guard and visor open), it is
advised to place the side locking lever in position "J" (see instructions LEVER P/J, Fig. A,
lever upwards) to secure the chin guard in lifted position.
CHIN GUARD OPENING SYSTEM
This helmet is equipped with the innovative DUAL ACTION chin guard opening system which
prevents it from opening accidentally.
N.B.: For an easier fitment of the helmet we may suggest you to keep the chinguard
opened and the vps in the up position during the operation.
1
OPENING
1.1 Push the red safety lever outwards by turning it with your thumb (Fig. 1).
1.2 Place your forefinger on top of the opening lever and push it downwards so as to unlock
the chin guard (Fig. 2).
1.3 Pull the flip-up chin guard forwards, accompanying it upwards as it rotates (Fig. 3).
2
CLOSING
In order to be able to close the helmet, make sure the side locking lever is in position "P", as
shown in fig. B (lever downwards).
2.1 Pull the chin guard downwards, accompanying it as it rotates, until you hear the clicks of
the closing mechanism.
2.2 Make sure that the chin guard is properly fastened.
LEVER P/J
Fig. A (lever upwards)
When the side blocking lever is in position "J" (Fig. A, lever upwards), the chin guard can be
opened, remaining locked in open position.
WARNING! In this configuration, the chin guard cannot be closed again. Do not force
the closing of the chin guard because it could cause damages in the helmet's closing
mechanism. To proceed with closing the chin guard, it is necessary to push the lock-
ing lever to position P (Fig. B, lever downwards).
Fig. B (lever downwards)
When the side locking lever is in position "P" (Fig. B, lever downwards), the chin guard can
be opened and/or closed.
WARNING!!!
-
The protection level of this helmet whilst riding the vehicle depends upon the con-
figuration adopted by the user: total protection if the chin guard and visor are
closed, partial protection if the chin guard and visor are open.
-
Do not use the helmet without the chin guard.
-
Do not use the helmet in case of chin guard malfunctioning. Immediately contact a
Nolan authorized dealer.
-
Do not remove nor tamper the fixing screws that connect the chin guard to the
shell.
