Connecting to a system which controls rekordbox dj using DJ players
For connecting to DDJ-XP2,
be sure to use the supplied
USB cable for high level
performance.
This product satisfies electromagnetic noise regulations
when it is connected to other equipment through
shielded cables (with Ferrite-cores attached) and
connectors.
Use only the furnished accessory connecting cables.

Launching the system

First, you need to connect your PC/Mac to a DJ mixer compatible with rekordbox dvs.
• For detailed instructions on using the rekordbox dj software, rekordbox dvs plus pack and a DJ mixer compatible with rekordbox dvs, see their
respective operating instructions.
1 Connect a DJ mixer compatible with rekordbox dvs to your PC/Mac using a USB cable.
2 Connect the audio output of the analog player and the channel input of the DJ mixer using an audio cable
(RCA) (sold separately).
3 Set a Control Vinyl for rekordbox dvs made by Pioneer DJ (sold separately).
• Other vinyls can't be used.
4 Turn on your PC/Mac.
• The audio driver for the DJ mixer should be installed before starting rekordbox.
5 Turn on the analog player and DJ mixer.
6 Launch rekordbox.

In Finder, open the [Applications] folder, then double-click the [rekordbox 5] > [rekordbox.app] icon.

From the [Start] menu, click [Pioneer] > [rekordbox] icon.
– For Windows 8.1
From [Apps view], click the [rekordbox] icon.
– For Windows 7
In the Windows [Start] menu, open [All Programs] > [Pioneer] > [rekordbox 5.X.X] > [rekordbox].
