Fitting the screen to the motorcycle:
1. Position the motorcycle on a level surface.
2. Unscrew the screw on the front of the windshield (P1).
3. Remove both screws on the fairing (P2). Lift the fairing from the locking mechanism and remove the
windshield rearwards (P3).
4. Reposition the fairing into the locking mechanism and refasten both screws (P2).
5. Switch the original rubber nut (M4) with the M5 rubber nut (P4) provided.
6. Moisten the rubber nut for easy installation – do not use grease or oil!
7. Install the fixing sheets included using the screws M 5 x 30 and the spacer 15mm (P4 + P5).
8. Put the two rubber nuts through the fixing sheets (P6).
9. Insert the screw M 5 x 20 with the plastic washer in the front hole and position the rubber spacer on
the screw from the inside.
10. Position the windshield and fix it with the pre-installed screw in front and both screws M 5 x 16 and
plastic washers in the rear holes.
11. Check all screws for tightness.
12. If included in the scope of delivery: apply the edge guard profile to the exposed rear area of the
windshield, starting at the fairing transition and ending at the opposite side. Cut off the rest if
required
13. It is also possible to push the clamping sleeves over the ends of the protective edge strip and lightly
compress these using a pair of pliers to secure the edge strip.
After installation, check that all of the screws are tight; tighten them up if necessary. Repeat this at
regular intervals. Clean the screen with water, neutral soap and a sponge. Do not use solvents, alcohol or
