10. Commissioning
• Insert the USB drive into the USB input (1).
The USB drive must only be plugged in or unplugged when the device is off. The USB drive must not be
removed from the USB input during playback. Data on the USB drive can be destroyed by this. There is
a danger of the USB drive being no longer readable because of this. We assume no liability of possible
data loss.

Selecting the Playback Source

• Select the playback source with the button CD/USB (2). The LC display shows the display CD or USB. The
playback source can only be changed in pause mode..

Play/Pause

• Push the PLAY/PAUSE
You can stop playback in two ways:
• Push the button PLAY/PAUSE
• During playback, push the CUE button (13). The device returns to the CUE mark and pauses.

Track Selection

The dial TRACK
• Turn the dial clockwise by one grid position to jump one track forwards.
• Turn the dial counter-clockwise by one grid position to return to the title start or to the previous track.
• Push and turn the dial to move 10 tracks forwards or back.

Folder Selection for MP3 Playback

Use the dial TRACK
CD and USB drive. Of course, this feature is only available for use where the corresponding folder is stored on the
MP3 data carrier.
• Push the FOLDER button (4). "FOLDER" will be displayed.
• Turn the dial clockwise by one grid position to jump one folder forwards.
• Turn the dial counter-clockwise by one grid position to jump one folder backwards.
• Push the dial TRACK (3) briefly to select the folder. The device returns to track selection.
In playback mode, the first track in the folder is played back when a folder is selected.
In pause mode, the dial TRACK (3) can be used to select the desired title after folder selection.
The TOTAL TRACK display shows the total number of tracks, track number in the folder, folder num-
ber or partition number.
Keep the button "FOLDER" pushed for approx. 2 seconds if you want to return from the FOLDER func-
tion to the track selection function.
