Loosen flat-head screws 1 of base plate 2 and
remove them from support 8.
Hold tool carrier 41 in position by means of
pushbutton 50.
Loosen flange nut 3 by means of the nut
wrench.
Replace cutter 4.
Centre the new cutter on flange 5 and tighten by
means of flange nut 3.
Note the direction of rotation of the
cutter.
Fasten base plate 2 by means of flat-head
screws 1.
Check cutting depth and if required readjust.

4.8 Adjusting the cutting depth

Set setting wheel 38 to "Max".
Push the motor part forward up to the limit stop.
Turn the cutter so that a tooth reaches the
foremost point on the circumference.
The max. cutting depth can be set to 19 mm (3/4 in.)
by means of depth stop 6.

To do so, loosen nut 7 and turn the depth stop
(1 turn = 0.7 mm (1/32 in.)).

Retighten the nut.

Operation

5.1 Initial operation

Personnel entrusted to work with the machine must
be made aware of the operating instructions, calling
particular
attention
instructions".
It is mandatory to check whether all safety devices
are attached and functional.

5.2 Switching on and off

Switching on: Push switch button 60 forward
until it engages.
Switching off: Press switch button 60 slightly
down at it's rear end until it is released and then
let it go.

5.3 Slip guard

The two slip guards 100 prevent the machine from
slipping away to the side when milling biscuit
grooves.
In order to mill longitudinal grooves for which the
machine is guided laterally, the slip guards 100 must
be moved inside by turning.

5.4 Work instructions

Hold the biscuit jointer with both hands at
handle 58 and motor casing 70. Using the
centre marking of support 8, position the
machine on the desired position on the
workpiece.
Switch on the machine.
Push the motor part forward up to the selected
limit stop.
In case of narrow workpieces, the markings on
support 8 can be used for positioning the grooves.
Danger
Switch off the motor before putting
the machine aside.

5.5 Selection of biscuit sizes
