Residual heat

If the hob is switched off and the cooking area used is very hot, a static letter "H" appears on the display. If the
hob is on but the heating level is 0, the associated display will indicate "H" and "0" alternatively.
2.4.5

Switching on the entire dual plate

The procedure for switching on the entire dual plate (see ref. B+C fig. 1 page 46) is the following:
1. select the heating level of the plate (the internal plate area switches on). If the heating level is left at "0"
the external area does not switch on;
2. press the dual plate button (see para 2.3 "Control panel"). The external area of the plate switches on and
the associated LED shines (a buzzer sound).

Heating function

This function increases the cooking level to maximum power for an established time.
The heating function is activated by selecting heating level 9 and pressing the (+) button (see para 2.3 "Control
panel"). The decimal point on the display flashes for 10 seconds. During these 10 seconds, select the required
heating level (from 1 to 8). When this period of time elapses, a buzzer sounds and the decimal point remains
fixed indicating that the heating function is active. If the power level is set to 0 or 9, the heating function is
cancelled.
If the heating function is activated, press the (+) button on the plate to set the duration of the heating function
to that of the new heating level; if the new power level is 9, the heating function is cancelled.
The duration of the heating function depending on the set heating level is shown below:

2.4.6.1 Heating function cancelled

The heating function is automatically cancelled when the relative duration terminates or when required by
the user.
When the heating function is automatically cancelled, a buzzer sounds, the decimal point on the display turns
off and the heating level of the plate remains the selected heating level.
Press the (-) button (see para 2.3 "Control panel") with the heating function activated to cancel the function.
