Installation instructions:

1.) Remove the rear bumper and spare wheel from the vehicle.
2.) Remove the outer bumper with the impact shock absorber from the inner plate support.
(The plate support is no longer needed in connection with the towing hitch.)
3.) Place the impact shock absorber (foam section) on the towing hitch from outside via the large, oval
holes. Cut impact shock absorber free in the middle of the connection area!
Using the existing screws above and below attach the bumper over the bumper supports welded to the
sides.
4.) Guide towing hitch with the mounted bumper into the opening of the rear tail plate so that the holes "a"
and "c" coincide with the mounting points on the vehicle.
Insert supplied hexagon screws M 12 x 1.5 x 35 (5x) / M 12 x 1.5 x 30 (1x) and tighten.
Screw down at "c" using the enclosed hexagon nut M 12 x 1.5 and washer 13. Attach spare wheel
again.
5.) Insert socket holder "1" (if necessary with installed electrical assembly) on the threaded bolts at "b" and
tighten with the supplied nuts M 6.
6.) Tighten all screws.
Starting torques:
Screws M12 of property class 10.9 and nuts of property class 10.9 as well as screws M6 of property
class 8.8 and nuts of property class 8 are used.
