Central ventilation units AIR1 XH
In order to use this function, at least one air quality sensor must be connected. The sensor-controlled operating function
can only be activated by the VOD timer.
Up to 3 different or same types of sensors can be connected to a ventilation unit with 3 free analogue inputs. The hig-
hest ventilation requirement has priority.
If a room temperature sensor is connected to analogue input AI2 (KWL-FTF temperature 0-10 V sensor), only analogue
inputs AI3 and AI4 will be available for the air quality sensors.
In order to connect more than 3 sensors to a ventilation unit, the optional signal converter AIR1-SK with 6 analogue
inputs and one analogue output is available. Only the same types of sensor can be connected per signal converter
AIR1-SK.

Emergency operation/Fire mode
If the potential-free switch contact DI2 is closed, the unit will switch to emergency operation/fire mode.
Access to the settings: Log on as Admin.
The emergency operation/fire mode settings can be found in the "Configuration" menu - "Fire protection":
• Operation during alarm (stopped, only supply air fan, only extract air fan, normal operation, continuous operation)
• Speed during fire alarm Supply air, Extract air

A pre-set fan speed can be set for use in the event of a fire. This function is deactivated with "-1". The fire mode is
activated by closing the switch contact DI2.
