11.2 Dismantling the device

Dismantling the device
The lower enclosure section is fixed to the wall by means of
screws located in different positions on the enclosure. The
dismantling process is identical for other device versions.
• Bear in mind the weight of the device

Risk of sustaining injury due to heavy device
During transportation or installation work, heavy
devices may fall down and cause injury.
• Transport, mount and dismount heavy devices with the
aid of a second person if needed.
• Use appropriate auxiliary equipment as required.
• Loosen the screws at the lower enclosure section and
dismount the device from the wall.
11.2.1 Securing the supply lines against accidental
contact
After dismantling the device, if necessary, the free supply
line is to be secured against accidental contact when reacti-
vating the supply voltage.
Danger
Risk of sustaining injury due to electric shock
There is a risk of sustaining major injury or death in the
case of touching live components after dismantling the
device.
• Never activate the supply voltage when the supply line is
not secured and accessible.

Warning
Risk of sustaining injury due the start-up of electri-
cal consumers
Electrical consumers, connected to the receptacle combi-
nation, may automatically start up upon reactivation of a
tripped protective device and cause injury.
• Activate a protective device only after all connected
consumers have been switched off or disconnected from
the receptacle combination.

12.1 Troubleshooting

12.1.1 Residual current device

A residual current device (FI) is triggered
• Visually check the receptacle combination and connected
electrical consumers for defects.
YES – there is a defect with one of the devices
• Have an electrician rectify the problem.
NO – there is no defect
• Reactivate the residual current device (FI).
The residual current device is triggered again!
• Have an electrician rectify the problem.
