If the original packing for the 10 batteries is no longer available:
• Opt for fireproof packaging if possible (class C according to NF EN 13 501-1).

• Avoid any potential short circuit.

General transport information

The BLN Ex-3 battery and its original packaging are tested according to the UN Manual of
L
tests and criteria Part III Section 38.3 in order to check compliance with the requirements of
regulations (ADR188, IMDG 188, DOT /49 CFR Section 173.102), and IATA packaging
instructions DGR 965 Section II.
The BLN Ex-3 battery in its original packaging complies with the following conditions for the
classification of non-dangerous goods:

• Battery capacity does not exceed 100 Wh.
U
• The battery is isolated in its original packaging to avoid short circuits.
T
• A label affixed on the packaging clearly indicates that the package contains lithium
C
batteries and that, in case of damage, the battery must be set aside, inspected and
placed in new packaging.
H
• If air transport is used, the total mass of the package (i.e. the cardboard box) does not
exceed 10 kg per package. For other modes of transport, the package can weigh up
to 30 kg.
