2.1 Special notes for laser units

This unit is a class 2M laser product. The
lasers have the following power and wave-
length:
green laser
red laser
WARNING In case of temporary expo-
sure (0.25 seconds max.), a
class 2M laser is safe for the
naked eye. However, it is
hazardous
through optical instruments.
In this case, the laser may
cause
damage.

2.2 General safety notes

WARNING The power supply unit uses
dangerous mains voltage.
Leave servicing to skilled
personnel only. Inexpert han-
dling or modification of the
unit may result in electric
shock.
Please observe the following items in any
case:

The units are suitable for indoor use only.
Protect them against dripping water and
splash water, high air humidity and heat
(admissible ambient temperature range
0 – 40 °C).

Do not operate the laser unit and immedi-
ately disconnect the power supply unit
from the socket
