Intended use
The tool together with the available Festool
accessories is designed for processing wood,
soft plastics and similar materials.

Power supply
conform to the voltage indicated on the rat-
ing plate. A 16 A safety fuse (for 120 V) or
a corresponding protective circuit-breaker
is required.
To switch on, fi rst press the switch lock (1.2)
and then the switch (1.1) (press = ON, re-
lease = OFF).
Extension cable
If an extension cable is required, it must
have a sufficient cross-section so as to
prevent an excessive drop in voltage or
overheating. An excessive drop in voltage

reduces the output and can lead to failure of
the motor. The table beside shows you the
correct cable diameter as a function of the
cable length for the planer EHL 65 E. Use
only U.L. and CSA listed extension cables.
