Your new Resusci Baby
Resusci Baby has been designed to serve as a
realistic training aid for teaching infant CPR skills.
Some helpful features included in the manikin for
this purpose are:
- Natural obstruction of the airway
- Movable jaw
- Hyperextension of the head causes reclosure
of the airway
- Human-like compliance for ventilations and
compressions
- Chest rise with ventilations
- Realistic landmarks for compression point
location
- Brachial pulse
- Indication of too fast inflation (with Skillguide)

Unpacking and Assembly

Resusci Baby is provided assembled and ready
to use.
Some additional supplies are provided for your
convenience. Included with your Resusci Baby
manikin (cat. No. 14 00 10) are:
- 2 extra Resusci Baby Faces
- 5 extra Resusci Baby Airways
- Pulse bulb and tubing
- Directions for use
- Sanitation kit

Skillguide Signal Box

Consistent and objective feedback on
performance during practice helps develop and
reinforce skills.The Skillguide Signal Box provides
feedback to the instructor and student to
support the student's initial skill development by
means of a color light display.
If you purchased the Resusci Baby with Skillguide
(cat. No. 14 00 11) you will also have received:
- Skillguide signal Box
- Four 1.5 V alkaline batteries, size C
To connect and use the Skillguide Signal Box:
1. Plug the Skillguide cable into the connector on
the right side of the manikin.
2. Remove the paper tab coming from the
battery compartment on the backside of the
signal box.
3. Press the "On" button to begin practice.
The Skillguide will turn "off " automatically if no
activity takes place for 5 minutes.
Note: If the Skillguide is turned "on" and the red
signal for finger position comes on, the Skillguide is
not completely plugged in to the manikin.
