charging time. Overcharging invali-
dates the guarantee.
Before initial use, charge the battery
installed in the equipment. Do not
charge the battery for several short pe-
riods in succession.
Use the charger supplied to charge
the Li-ion battery installed in the equip-
ment.
Recharge the battery if the equipment
runs too slowly.
In all cases, observe the applicable
safety information as well as the regu-
lations and directions for environmen-
tal protection.
Defects resulting from improper han-
dling are not subject to the guarantee.
1. Connect the charger cable plug
(22) with the charger socket on
the tool (5).
2. Connect the power supply unit
(21) to a socket.
The charging indicator (4) lights
up:
Red: Equipment charging.
Green: Charging finished.
The recommended charging time
is max. 3 – 5 hours.
3. After the recharging process is
completed, first unplug the charg-
er from the wall outlet, and then
remove the charger cable plug
from the tool.

Inserting/replacing the
blade
Before replacing the blade,
ensure that the equipment is
switched off in order to avoid
danger and injuries!

1. Place the cutting head (1) on
the grass trimming blade (9) or
shrub trimming blade (11) such
that the arrow and markings are
aligned.
2. Push the end of the blade
towards the unlock but-
ton (7). It clicks audibly
into place.

Removing the blade:

3. Push the unlock button (7) up-
wards
remove the entire blade.
If the blade drive (23) has turned
around, turn it by hand until you
can position the blades (9/11).
Assembling the telescopic
shaft
For packaging reasons, the tel-
escopic handle is delivered in two
sections. When connected together,
the two sections lock into each other
and cannot subsequently be de-
tached.
Connecting the telescopic
tubes:
1. Insert the two sections of the tel-
escopic tube (15) into each other
on the equipment and
