IMPORTANT: The Brevi "car seat base", group 0+,
must be installed in a rear-facing position, on se-
ats where the airbag is NOT active. Do not install
the Brevi "car seat base" on rear-facing seats or
seats facing other seats.
The car seat base is secured using a 3-point seat belt and re-
mains in the car ready for the Brevi "Smart" child car seat, art.
545, to be fitted to it.
The "Smart" child car seat, art. 545, is fitted to the base and secu-
red using the 3-point seat belt.
The "Smart" child car seat is ECE R44/04 approved for group 0+,
for children weighing between 0 and 13 kg. To use the "Smart"
child car seat, refer to the instructions accompanying it.
WARNING
Do not place the car seat on the front seat if the airbag is active.
If the vehicle is equipped with an airbag, and this is active, the
car seat must always be installed on the back seat of the vehicle.
CAUTION
• Assembly and installation must be done by adults
• Do not insert your fingers into the mechanisms
• Install this group 0+ car seat base in a rear-facing position
• To prevent death or serious injury, do not install this car seat
base on passenger seats fitted with an airbag. To prevent ha-
zards caused by airbags, disable the airbags surrounding the
location of the car seat.
• In the case of swivel or repositionable seats, it is recommended
to install this car seat base in a rear-facing position.
• In the car, pay special attention to luggage or other objects that
may injure the child in the car seat in the event of an accident.
• Do not use installation methods other than those specified. The
car base may come away from the seat.
• Base for group 0+ car seat, "Universal" category, approved
according to the ECE R44/04 standard for children weighing
between 0 and 13 kg. Suitable for the majority of, but not all,
vehicle seats.
• The car seat base may be installed correctly if the vehicle's
operating and maintenance manual indicates compatibility with
group 0+ "Universal" restraint systems.
• This car seat base is classified as "Universal" according to more
stringent criteria than previous models not bearing the approval
label.
• This car seat base can only be used on approved vehicles,
equipped with a static three-point or retractor seat belt, appro-
ved according to the UN/ECE 16 regulation or equivalent stan-
dards. Two-point seat belts or lap belts cannot be used.
• To install the base with the child car seat, pass the vehicle's
three-point belt through the slots marked with a circular blue
sticker.
• Make sure that the vehicle's three-point seat belt used to secure
the base and the car seat is always taut and not twisted. Repla-

ce it in the event of excessive stresses caused by an accident.
• If in doubt, contact the car seat base manufacturer or dealer.
• Do not use this car seat base if it is cracked or has missing
pieces, if it is second-hand or if it has been subjected to violent
stresses in an accident, because it may have suffered extremely
dangerous structural damage.
• Do not make changes to the product.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Clean the plastic parts with a damp cloth. Do not use solvents or
similar products. Avoid prolonged, direct exposure to sunlight: this
may cause colour changes to the materials. Store the product in
a clean, dry place.
Warning: to avoid danger of suffocation, remove the plastic bag
before using this product. The plastic bag should then be destro-
yed or kept away from babies and children.

WICHTIG: Die "Basis" der Marke Brevi muss ge-
meinsam mit dem Kinderautositz "Smart" der Mar-
ke Brevi, Art. 545, verwendet werden.
WICHTIG: Die "Basis" der Marke Brevi, Kategorie
0+, muss gegen die Fahrtrichtung auf Sitzen mit
NICHT aktiviertem Airbag installiert werden. Die
"Basis" der Marke Brevi nicht auf rückwärtsge-
richteten oder gegenüber angeordneten Sitzen
installieren.
Die Basis wird mit dem Dreipunktgurt dauerhaft im Fahrzeug fi-
xiert und ist jederzeit bereit zur Befestigung des Kinderautositz
"Smart" der Marke Brevi, Art. 545, bereit.
Der Kinderautositz "Smart" der Marke Brevi, Art. 545, wird mit
dem Dreipunktgurt auf der Basis befestigt.
