6. To check operation, press the test button. The LED indica-
tor lights up and a high frequency sound is emitted if ins-
tallation has been carried out correctly. Please don't forget
to select the desired frequency first using the frequency
selector switch.

The following information on the PIR movement detector ser-
ves only for reference purposes. Changeable parameters, such
as weather and surroundings, can have a detrimental effect on
the sensor. Please protect the appliance from direct sunlight.

Do not direct the appliance towards neighbouring properties or
publicly accessible areas. It is intended only for use on your own
property. The animal deterrent device is designed to solve pro-
blems with animals which are running loose, straying or not on
the leash. It has an extremely irritating effect on cats, dogs and
many other animals. Please be aware that some people with
very good hearing are able to hear the animal deterrent device
when the lowest frequency is selected. If this should happen,
select a higher frequency using the frequency selector switch.

10. Safety instructions

Important: Damage caused by not adhering to the operating ins-
tructions is not covered by guarantee. Gardigo accepts no liability
whatsoever for any resulting consequent damages.
· Only operate the device at its intended voltage.
· In case of repairs, only use original spare parts, to avoid seri-
ous damage.
· Check feed cables and conducting cables connected to the
device for breaks or insulation defects. If you find a defect or
there is visible damage do not use the device.

· Repairs or other works, e.g. changing a fuse, etc. may only be
carried out by an appropriately trained, skilled person.
· It must be noted that operator or connecting errors lie outside
the influence of Gardigo and we cannot accept any liability for
resulting damages.

place where you intend using it.
· This device is not suitable for use by persons (including child-
ren) with limited physical, sensory or mental capabilities or
with a lack of experience or knowledge, unless they are super-
vised and have been instructed in the use of the device by a
person responsible for their safety. Children should be super-
vised in order to ensure that they do not play with the device.
11. Guarantee
We grant a two year guarantee for this device. Guarantee includes
repair of all defects that were not caused by defective material or
fabrication mistakes. Guarantee does not apply on wearing parts
(for example illuminants). Since Gardigo has no influence on cor-
rect and appropriate assemblage and operation it is obvious that
guarantee applies only on completeness and proper condition.
Gardigo takes on neither liability nor guarantee for damages or
consequential damages in connection with this product. This ap-
plies especially when the device was altered or repaired, when cir-
cuits were changed or non-original spare parts were used or when
damage was caused by false or negligent operation or abuse.

Environmental protection notice
At the end of its life span this product may not be dis-
posed as normal household waste but must be disposed of
at a collecting place for recycling of electrical and electronic
equipment. The icon on the product, in the manual, or on
the packing points to this fact. The materials are recyclable
according to their labelling. Through reusing, material recyc-
ling, or other forms of utilisation of old devices you make an
important contribution to the protection of the environment.
