Demo operation mode
If in menu item F the setting PlAy is selected, random characters are displayed
one after another. A control of the unit is in this operation mode not possible.
Power-on reset
After switching the operating voltage on, minus signs are displayed to signalize that
the unit is ready for operation. If a display test has been preselected in menu item F,
it runs beforehand.
Character set
In addition to the numbers 0...9, the character set also contains the other characters
that can be displayed with a 7-segment matrix. They are reproduced in the table
below with the corresponding hex code.

Error detection
If the unit detects an error Errn will be displayed in the monitor display. n signifies
the kind of error:

Error kind Parameter fault
Cause The operation mode set in the master is not corresponding to that set in
the menu.
Solution Select the same operation mode in the menu which has been set in the
master.
