1. Safety Hints
Pleas make sure htat the relevant local building and fire
protection codes as well as the regulations of the employer's
liability insurance associations are observed when the units
are used.
The units may be operated only by persons who have
been trained in this field.
The units are to be installed and operated in such a
way as to ensure that the personnel is not jeopardized
by waste gases an radiation heat and htat no fire can
break out.
The units may be installed an operated in rooms only if
sufficient air can be fed to the units to ensure perfect b
burning.
Fuel may be supplied only based on the VGB 21 regu-
lations (use of liquid gas).
Make sure that mobile liquid gas holders are installed
in a stable way and in an upright position.
During the unit's operation liquid gas holders are not
to be used in a lying position; (gas leakage in the liquid
phase!).
The units may be operated only in well aerated rooms.
The permanent stay of persons in the rooms here the
units are instaled is prohibited. Appropriate prohibition
signs are to be fitted at the entrances.
the units may be installed only on a non-combustible
base.
The units may not be installed and operated in environ-
ments which are endangered by fire an explosions.
A safety zone of 1.5 m around the unit, as well as a
minimum distance of 3 m from the unit's blower
aperture is to be maintained, even in the case of non
combustible objects.
The blower aperure of te unit may not be narrowed or
equipped with hoses or conduits.
Never place foreign matters/objects into the unit.
The air suction grid must be free from dirt and loose
objects.
The units may not be exposed to direct water jets.
All electric cables outside the unit are to be protected
from damage (e.g. caused by animals, etc.)
When maintenance work and repairs are carried out
the gas supply is to be cut off and themains plug to be
pulled out of the mains socket.
Safety devices may be neither bridged nor blocked.
