5. Commissioning

Before using the device
for the first time, you must
have read the user infor-
mation thoroughly. In case
of any uncertainties, please contact the
responsible dealer or Dreve Dentamid
directly.
Carefully remove the Vacfomat V9 from
its transport packaging and place it on
the intended worktop. It should have a
minimum depth extension of > 600 mm
and be sufficiently stable to accommo-
date a weight of approx. 50 kg.
The ambient temperature at the instal-
lation site of the Vacfomat V9 should
not permanently exceed a tempera-
ture of 23 °C.

Before establishing the power sup-
ply to the mains, make sure that all
transport locking devices have been
removed from the device and that the
lever mechanism for lifting and lower-
ing the foil cartridge is fully functional.
Check the capacity of your power con-
nection. The Vacfomat V9 is operated
with 220–240 V, 50/60 Hz and has a
max. power consumption of 2000 W.
Insert the power cable into the device
socket and establish a mains connec-
tion.
