1) At the first signs of malfunction,

Follow the instructions in the engine
manual.
Changing the engine oil
CAUTION: The oil discharge operation
is easier to perform if the oil is warm.
 
WARNING: Please dispose of used
engine oil in a manner that is
compatible with the environment. Used
oil must be taken in a sealed container
t o yo u r l o c a l s e r v i c e c e n t r e f o r
reclamation. Do not throw it in the
rubbish bin or pour it down a drain, on
the ground or into the water system.
Lubricating plan
To ensure that moving parts can move
freely, we recommend lubricating the

following points at least once a year.

Use a cloth to clean all points to be
lubricated before greasing or spraying. Do

not use water, so as to avoid possible
corrosion.

- Grease the grease nipples on the right
and left steering knuckles (23) using
multi-purpose grease.

- Spray oil onto the bearings of the front
axle on the frame (22).
- Grease the toothed segments and

steering pinion on the steering box (24)
using multipurpose grease.
- Grease the roller bearing and hub on the
front and rear axles (25) with multi-
purpose grease.
 
WARNING: The front and rear wheels
must be removed by an Authorised
Service Centre for greasing the axles and
bearings.
- Pivoting and bearing points: Lubricate all
movable pivoting and bearing points.
Carburettor
 
WA R N I N G : D o n o t m o d i f y t h e
carburettor. This could lead to
violation of exhaust gas emission laws.
Battery
The starter battery is located under the
bonnet.
The starter battery is always supplied from
the factory pre-charged.
WARNING
Danger if the starter battery is not
handled correctly!
Please comply with the following points to
avoid dangers from incorrect handling of
the battery!
- Do not store the starter battery in the
immediate vicinity of naked flames, do
not burn it or place it on heaters. Risk of
explosion.
- Keep the starter battery in a cool, dry
room (10 - 15 °C) over winter. Avoid
storing at temperatures below the
freezing point.
