Testing the unit
Using the test key provided, insert the key into the test hole (situated on the bottom right hand side of the
glass cover) and engage into test cam, and turn the key in a clockwise direction (approx. 100°). This will
simulate the breaking of the glass element. Use the key to reset the unit by rotating the key in an anti-clockwise
direction to the original position.
NOTE: MEDC DO NOT recommend forcing the test key further than 100° clockwise or 0° anti-clockwise
as this may lead to premature failure of the test cam.
