1.2 MAIN PARTS OF THE RIDING MOWER
The OM / EF 92 riding mower consists of the following basic sections:
(1) Frame with a bumper
The frame with bumpers serves as a bearing element for most of the main parts of the
machine.
(2) Front axle with wheels including steering
The front axle enables the wheels to turn. A steering wheel is used for steering.
(3) Mowing deck
The mowing deck mows and collects the grass. It is located under the machine. It consists of
a cover, main plate and two mowing blades.
(4) Grass ejection chute
It connects the mowing deck with the grass catcher. The grass passes through it to the grass
catcher.
(5) Gear box including rear-wheel drive
The gear box with hydrostatic power transmission serves to change gears while driving.
(6) By-pass
1.2
The by-pass lever serves to engage and disengage the gear box for the rear wheels. It is
located on the rear left wheel and depending on the machine configuration, it is located either
in front of the wheel or behind the wheel.
(7) Grass catcher
The grass catcher located in the rear behind the mower, consists of a tubular metal frame,
lid, textile sack and a dump lever handle.
(8) Driver's location
The comfortable seat enables easy access to all control elements on the machine.
(9) The body, engine including electrical installations and battery
The body is a combination of plastic and metal covers which appropriately cover the electrical
and mechanical components of the machine. The four-stroke petrol engine is located under
the hood and is firmly attached to the frame. The battery is located in the storage space
under the steering wheel.
