CAUTION: Before replacing the star-
shaped milling heads switch the ma-
chine "OFF" and unplug the machine
from the socket.
Caution!
NOTE: Decreased removal capacity over a period of
time is an indicator of wear and the necessity for re-
placing of the star-shaped milling cutters.
First, proceed as described in the previous chapter
"Removal of the milling head".
Before loosening the orange locking screw, loosen
the 2 fitting bolts of the inner ring first (do not remo-
ve them). Then loosen the orange locking screw and
remove the milling head (as described above) from
the machine using the extractor, remove the 2 fitting
bolts and the inner ring by hand.

Dismounting:
1.
Pull the bearing bolt towards the inside and lift
out the group of cutter discs.
2. Repeat the procedure for the other 4 groups of
cutter discs.
3. When assembling new milling wheels, pay atten-
tion to the correct assembly sequence (See A. ).
4. When replacing, always replace the complete set
of milling wheels.
5. Check the star-shaped milling cutters for correct
installation and free movement.

6. After installing the new sets of star-shaped mil-
ling cutters proceed with the installation of the
milling head and the inner ring in reverse order
(see illustration). In order to fasten the midd-
le clamping screw and the fitting bolts after in-
serting the milling head, fix the orange locking
screw.

Installing the diamond grinding disc
There are 2 different diamond grinding discs availa-
ble:
Diamond grinding disc "gold" (scope of delivery):
For grinding and levelling of hard surfaces as e.
g. concrete, brick, lime sand brick, sandstone,
basalt. A rough surface will be the result.
Diamond grinding disc "red" (optional): For grin-
ding of softer surfaces as e. g. Poroton, slate,
glue residues and protective coatings. A slightly
rough surface will be the result.
1.
Remove the milling head according to the ins-
tructions above under "Removal of the milling
head".
2. Remove the spacer from the axle and store it to-
gether with the milling head. Leave the parallel
key (small splint) on the axle.
3. Align the recess on the spacer with the parallel
keys and apply to axle with the groove facing up-
wards.
