Observe the correct positioning of the machine:
Place the machine on a solid surface. Take into
account the necessary free space to be able to
work safely and free of obstructions. Also include
the handling area of the machine.
Always be alert: Observe your work. Be sensible
and do not use the machine if you are not concen-
trated. Pay special attention to the workpiece or
the area where the workpiece is being processed.
In order to let other suitable persons work with
the machine, you should instruct them in detail
beforehand and start by operating the machine
together.
Use the machine according to its application:
Observe the safety regulations when working.
Keep the machine closed during commissioning
and use. Do not reach into the running machine
with hands or tools.
Do not overload the machine: You work much
more comfortably and safely in the specified per-
formance range. Use your machine as described
in the instruction manual.
Keep unauthorized persons away: This applies
especially to children! You should keep unaut-
horized persons away from your work area to
avoid unintentional danger or distraction. For
this reason also keep animals away.
Check the machine regularly for damage: Before
further use of the machine, carefully check the
safety devices or damaged parts for their proper
and intended function. Also check if the function

of movable parts is ok, if no parts are broken,
if all other parts are faultlessly and correctly
mounted, and if all other conditions, which may
have influence the machine to operate, are ful-
filled. Damaged safety devices and parts must
be repaired or replaced properly.
Clean your machine: Keep your machine clean
and clean it in accordance with safety regulati-
ons. Follow the manufacturer's instructions and
maintenance instructions. Make sure that all
screws are tight to work better and safer. Keep
all controls dry and free of oil and grease.
Please note: For your own safety, only use acces-
sories that are offered in the instruction manual or
in the corresponding brochures. The use of other
parts can cause an injury risk for you.
24. MAINTENANCE
1.
Regular cleaning of the forming rol-
lers and the driving rolls is recommen-
ded to prevent residues on the seam.
2.
The axles of the forming and drive
rollers must be lubricated regularly.
3.
The worm drive must be lubricated regularly
to ensure the smooth running of the machine.
