16. ENTER THE SEAM FROM OUTSIDE

The tension lever is closed.
The Seaming Pro is positioned in front of the
unclosed seam. Enter slowly and gently. It is not
necessary to pre-seam the panels.
The Seaming Pro can run over a closed single
standing seam. It CANNOT enter a closed double
standing seam!

17. PLACE ON EXISTING SEAM

The Seaming Pro can be placed anywhere on the
prefabricated seam. For the single standing seam,
a machine length (min. 30 cm/12 inch) must be
pre-seamed with the single standing seam closer.
For the double standing seam, a minimum of 30
cm (12inch) must be pre-seamed by hand with a
double squareseam folder. The seaming machine
must be positioned centrally at the area where
the single standing seam and double standing
seam meet. Once the correct position has been
reached, the tension lever can be closed without
much effort.The clips can be fixed in advance by a
single standing seam. When seaming clips, please
note that the material to be processed increases
in thickness. Please note the maximum thickness
of 0.6 mm (0.23"). For this reason, clips must be
run over slowly and carefully. If the thickness of
the material is greater than the allowed limits
(see table on page 32), the seaming is done at
your own risk.

Caution: The machine must not enter an alrea-
dy finished double standing seam. Otherwise,
pressure marks and an incorrect closing of the
seam will be the result.
The Seaming Pro must not be placed and clamped
on the pre-profiled panels without pre-seaming.

18. EXIT FROM THE SEAM

When the Seaming Pro has reached the end of
the seam, the user turns off the machine.
The Seaming Pro can be removed from the seam
at slow speed. This will also close the remaining
seam (approx. 30 cm). The machine must be
adjusted manually according to the roof pitch.
We recommend closing the last 30 cm (12inch)
using a double squareseam folder or a single
squareseam folder.
When approaching an obstacle (wall, chimney
etc.), the user also switches off the machine. The
Seaming Pro can be removed from the seam by
opening the tension lever.
The remaining seam must be closed with a double
squareseam folder or a single squareseam folder.
