FAULT/MALFUNCTION
1) The electric pump does not get started or stops
unexpectedly
2) The electric pump gets started but does not deliver any flow,
dispenses irregularly, or the flow rate is much lower than
values specified on the nameplate
10 TROUBLESHOOTING
• Make sure the mains supply voltage is on.
• Check whether the thermal magnetic and differential circuit breakers have been enabled; check fuses (if any) for intactness.
• For single-phase models: check the capacitor for intactness.
• Check any start and stop systems (pressure switch, level switch, other) for proper operation
• Check the electrical connection to the mains. Visually check power cables for intactness.
• FOR PROFESSIONAL MAINTENANCE TECHNICIANS ONLY: make sure the pump can rotate freely and power consumption does not
exceed the value on the nameplate. Make sure that power cable connections are not loose. Check for any phase loss due to a fuse or
motor problem.
• Check that the filter is not clogged and that the pump is primed. Check the foot valve for proper operation. Make sure the pump does
not cavitate.
• Make sure there is no air in the hydraulic conduit; vent pipes
• For three-phase models: check the rotation direction.
