device with a tripping current not greater than
30 mA.
I
- After connecting the plug to the mains, place
the electric saw on the ground so that the
chain is clear of any obstructions which could
prevent it from regularly sliding.
GB
- Hold the handles firmly and first press the
safety button (A, Fig.16), then the on/off
switch (B).
F
WA R N I N G - Ke e p bys t a n d e r s a n d
animals out of the work area when
cutting with the electric saw.
D
WARNING - Press and hold the switch
completely down (B) during saw operation.
E
The electric saw do not run when the brake
lever (C) is engaged (Fig. 4).
SK
BREAKING-IN THE CHAIN
Disconnect the plug from the network
P
before any servicing.
WARNING - In order for the chain to turn,
the accelerator lever must be pressed!
GR
After several minutes of use / cutting, the chain
tension must be rechecked:
• Stop the motor and disconnect the plug from
TR
the mains socket;
• Let the chain cool for several minutes;
• Recheck the chain tension (see page 26 –
Chain tensioning)
CZ
• Repeat this process until the chain retains
proper tension.
RUS
WARNING - Never touch the chain while
UK
the motor is running. Do not touch the
ground with the chain.
PL
WARNING - The electric saw will not
work when the brake lever is activated
(C, Fig. 4).
6. STOPPING THE ENGINE
Releasing the switch (B, Fig. 16) will immediately
shut down the chain, while the motor will stop
running due to inertia.
28
Do not put the electric saw on the
ground when the chain is still moving.
7. USE
SAFETY DEVICES
The electric saw is equipped with two separate
safety systems.
START SWITCH
When the start switch (B, Fig. 16) is completely
released, the chain stops immediately (for
maximum operator safety), while the motor
stops due to inertia.
CHAIN BRAKE
The chain brake ensures maximum safety in
using the electric saw. It protects the operator
from dangerous kickback which can occur
during working phases. It is actuated, with
consequent instant locking of the chain, when
the operator presses the lever (Fig. 17).
The chain brake is released by pulling the
lever towards the operator (Fig. 4) only after
having completely released the starting switch
(B, Fig. 16).
CHECKING BRAKE OPERATION
At machine inspection prior to each job, check
the operating condition of the brake following
the steps below:
1. Start the engine and grasp the handle
securely with both hands.
2. Pulling the throttle lever to maintain the
chain operation, push the brake lever down
toward the front using the back of your left
hand (Fig. 17).
3. When the brake operates and the chain is
stopped, release the throttle lever.
4. Release the brake (Fig. 4).
PROHIBITED USE
Do not use for forestry work (felling trees or
cutting branches), since the connection cable
does not guarantee the necessary mobility and
safety demanded by such operations.
