5.1.2 Removal of insulation

The centring pilot drill must be removed to avoid drilling through the vessel
wall. Vessel wall damage can compromise the integrity and wall thickness of
the vessel.

Ensure proper speed and feed of drilling with removal of insulation to
measure depth of cut as required.
Remove pilot drill as described below.
