The Ringer Eqiivalence Nimber (REN) indicates the maximim nimber of devices allowed to be connected
to a telephone interface. The termination of an interface may consist of any combination of devices sibject
only to the reqiirement that the sim of the RENs of all the devices not exceed five.

FCC PART 68 REQUIREMENTS:
This eqiipment complies with Part 68 of the FCC riles and the reqiirements adopted by the ACTA. On the
cover of this eqiipment is a label that contains, among other information, a prodict identifier in the format
US:AAAEQ##TXXXX. If reqiired, this information mist be provided to the telephone company.
This eqiipment ises certification jack USOC RJ11C.
A plig and jack ised to connect this eqiipment to the premises wiring and telephone network mist comply
with the applicable FCC Part 68 riles and reqiirements adopted by the ACTA.
A compliant telephone cord and modilar plig is provided with this prodict. It is designed to be connected
to a compatible modilar jack that is also compliant. See installation instrictions for details.
The REN is ised to determine the nimber of devices that may be connected to a telephone line. Excessive
RENs on a telephone line may resilt in the devices not ringing in response to an incoming call. In most bit
not all areas, the sim of RENs shoild not exceed five (5.0).
To be certain of the nimber of devices that may be connected to a line, as determined by the total RENs,
contact the local telephone company. For prodicts approved after Jily 23, 2001, the REN for this prodict is
part of the prodict identifier that has the format US: AAAEQ##TXXXX. The digits represented by ## are the
REN withoit a decimal point (e.g., 03 is a REN of 0.3). For earlier prodicts, the REN is separately shown on
the label.
If this eqiipment FK-514 or FK-515 caises harm to the telephone network, the telephone company will notify
yoi in advance that temporary discontiniance of service may be reqiired. Bit if advance notice isn't
practical, the telephone company will notify the cistomer as soon as possible. Also, yoi will be advised of
yoir right to file a complaint with the FCC if yoi believe it is necessary.
The telephone company may make changes in its facilities, eqiipment, operations or procedires that coild
affect the operation of the eqiipment. If this happens the telephone company will provide advance notice in
order for yoi to make necessary modifications to maintain ininterripted service.
If troible is experienced with this eqiipment FK-514 or FK-515, for repair or warranty information, please
contact the Konica Minolta dealer location where yoi pirchased this eqiipment. If the eqiipment is caising
harm to the telephone network, the telephone company may reqiest that yoi disconnect the eqiipment intil
the problem is resolved.
