8. Connection to the Audio System
The CD player has AUDIO OUT (35) cinch sockets for connection to your audio system (e.g. mixer).
Before connecting the device, make sure that the main plug is pulled safely. Always disconnect
from their power supply all the other devices to be connected.
Only connect audio outputs with suitable shielded connection cables. Use of any other cables may
cause interferences.
To avoid distortions or mismatches that may cause damage to the device, there may be connected
to the RCA jacks only devices that also have RCA plugs.
For this, observe also the connection information in the section "Technical Data".
• Connect the AUDIO OUT connections (35) to the CD inputs of your mixer or pre-amplifier.
• Always connect the white socket to the left input and the red socket to the right input.
• Connect the REMOTE CONTROL socket UNIT1 (37) of the drive unit to the REMOTE CONTROL socket UNIT1 (37)
of the operating unit.
• Connect the REMOTE CONTROL socket UNIT2 (37) of the drive unit to the REMOTE CONTROL socket UNIT2 (37)
of the operating unit.
9. Mains Connection
Before plugging in the main plug, make sure the voltage indicated on the device is compatible with
the main voltage available. If the information does not match the available main voltage, do not
connect to the device. An incorrect voltage supply results in serious damages.
Be careful when handling main cables and power plugs. The main voltage can cause fatal electric
shocks.
The main socket, to which the device is connected, must be easily accessible, so that it can be
quickly and directly isolated from the main power supply in the event of any fault.
The CD player and all the connected devices must be switched off when connecting the power
supply.
Make sure that all of the electrical connections, the connecting lines between the devices and
the possible extension cables are set in accordance with the regulations and with the operating
instructions. If there is an extension cable being used, it must be ensured that this is designed for
the respective load.
• Connect the small device connection plug of the power line to the power connection (36) on the device
• Connect the mains cable plug to a proper mains socket (100V~ - 240V~ / 50-60Hz).
• The mains switch (1) is used to switch the CD player on and off.
