3 Turn on the Portable Music Player
Slide the POWER/HOLD switch towards "POWER".
If this is the first time you turn the player on...
Follow the prompts that appear on the display to make the following settings.
1) Language setting
2) Sensitivity setting
3) Clock setting
When the settings are complete, move the cursor to OK and press the G-sense pad button.
Notes
• If the player is not operating correctly after configuring the G-sense sensitivity setting, perform a G-
sense setting (refer to the Operating Instructions) or press the reset button.
• The G-sense sensitivity, language, and clock setting procedure is performed again when the player is
started after the battery has been completely discharged.
• Other settings may also have to be set up again after a complete discharge of the battery.

To turn off the power
Slide the POWER/HOLD switch towards "POWER" again. Note that you cannot turn off at the player
during the setup procedure.
