Electrical connection

• Detach cover fastening screws and remove cover.
In the case of heaters with thermostat, remove the
cover complete with knob.
• Screw in safety union piece, insert connector, and
tighten pressure screw. The cable gland can be used
for cables between 9 and 17 mm.
Attention: To ensure high tightness IP 66 / IP 67,
expansion protection, and proper strain relief only
use the enclosed M 25 x 1,5 union piece.

Please note when connecting thermostatic devices!
• The thermostat is a sensitive component. Please be careful when attaching
the device!
• The connecting cables should not touch the housing of the thermostat and not
be installed below the regulator so that the switching function of the bi-metal
is guaranteed.
• before commissioning we recommend a functional test of the thermostat.
For this purpose turn the rotary knob until a clicking sound can be heard.

Start-up

Surface temperatures

Surface temperature rise on the ribbed top edge of
the ribbed tube heaters during operation: ET-RRU,
ET-RDA max. 200°C.
The surface temperature is made up of the effective
temperature rise and room temperature.
Care must be taken to ensure that the heaters
are not covered. If covered there is a fire hazard.
