INSTALLATION

MINIMUM DISTANCES

The following minimum distances from furniture and flamma-
ble objects must be adhered to for safety reasons. The wall
bracket provides clearance of 22 mm from the rear wall.

WALL MOUNTING:

Attention: The heater must not be installed under a wall sock-
et. Mount the wall bracket to the wall in accordance with Fig. 1,
so that the convector can subsequently be hung in a horizontal
position. The contact surface for the wall bracket should be lev-
el. Use screws with a max. diameter of 5.5 mm to fasten.
Note: Use the wall bracket as a marking and drilling template.

When installing the device in rooms with a bath or shower, the
protective area must be observed in accordance with interna-
tional standards.
If the device's power supply cord is damaged, it must be re-

Place the device in the lower straps shown and apply pressure
until the upper or lateral snappers are locked into place in the
intended recesses in the rear wall. The snappers can be un-
locked by applying pressure to the upper or lateral strap, e.g.
with a screwdriver (see Fig. 1 - Pos. Z and Fig. 2 - Point E)

ELECTRICAL CONNECTION

› The device may not be opened, either for the purposes of in-
stallation or connection.
› This heating device is rendered ready for operation by con-
necting it to a 230 V/50 Hz mains network.
› The moveable supply cable may not be fed over the air outlet
grille.
› The device must be isolated from the mains (all poles) via an
isolating distance of at least 3 mm.
› The power supply must be protected by a fault current circuit
breaker with max. 30 mA. Especially if the device is located
in a bathroom.

ATTENTION: Do not connect device to the earth
(PE)! The device has protective insulation!
Note: Ensure that the supply line's conductors are connected
correctly.

› Black:
Pilot line, only for external control
(e.g. timer switch)
The supply line's black wire serves exclusively as a control wire
(pilot line) for an external controller (e.g. timer switch). When
connected to the black wire at 230 V and on adjustment of op-
erating mode switch (A) to , the room temperature set on the
room thermostat (B) drops by approximately 3 °C.
This line must be isolated if the supply line's black wire is not
used as a control wire (pilot line).
