Make sure that the appliance is switched off and that the power adapter is

pulled. Disconnect the power adapter from the appliance. The water has to be
drained completely.
Check if the appliance inside is completely clean and dry. If necessary, let the

appliance stand open until the humidification mat and the inside of the water
basin are dry.
Caution: If the appliance is moist on the inside resp. if the moist humidification

mat is kept in storage, health-damaging microorganisms can form. To prevent
this, the appliance should only be put into storage if it is clean and completely
dry.
Keep the appliance standing upright in a dry, dark spot, best in the original
