4.2.2 Connecting the cable to the transmitter
For connecting the sensor please refer to the manual of
the transmitter.
4.2.3 Calibation of pH electrode
(Not needed for ISM digital InPro 5000 i)
Prepare electrode as described in section 4.1 "Start-
up". For the analog CO
ommend a 2-point calibration in pH buffer pH 7.00
and pH 9.21. Before calibration, first remove wetting
cap. Normally you start with buffer pH 7.00 for deter-
mining zero point and then buffer pH 9.21
for determining the slope. Please refer to instruction
manual of the transmitter for further details.
Important settings: On the transmitter, select Pt1000 as
temperature sensor for the analog InPro 5000. ISM dig-
ital InPro 5000i does not require a temperature setting.
Important: Please do not leave the sensor in the cali-
bration buffer for longer than 1 hour. Too long exposure
may result in a high sensor drift in the process.
