To clean the product externally
•
Clean the product daily with water after work is
finished.
•
Make sure that the handles are clean and dry.
•
Clean the blade block of any excess concrete build
up after each use. Use a heavy-duty handheld brush
or a large paint brush.
•
Keep all openings and slots on the product clean to
make sure that air flows freely through the engine
compartment to ensure proper cooling.
Air filter
The air cleaner assembly is a cyclone type op the
engine at the front of the saw. Replace the air cleaner
element according to the maintenance schedule or
earlier if necessary. Refer to
page 14 .
Refer to the operator's manual for the engine for
additional information.
Spark plug
CAUTION: Always use the recommended
spark plug type. Use of the incorrect spark
plug can cause damage to the piston/
cylinder.

To do a general inspection
•
Make sure that the nuts and screws on the product
are tightened.
•
Make sure that there are no fuel or oil leaks.
•
Soff-Cut 150 D: Make sure that the wheels for the
front guide and the rear guide turn freely.
To do a check of the skid plate, Soff-
Cut 150
•
Check for damage and excessive wear in the blade
slot.
•
Check for burrs on the concrete surface side and
twisting.
•
Install a new skid plate with each new blade. Never
re-use skid plates.
•
Lift the front and rear of the skid plate to ensure the
blade slides freely through the skid plate.
To do a check of the oil level
1. Stop the engine.
